Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Owrbit, we value our customers and strive to deliver high-quality services and products. We understand that there may be situations where a refund or cancellation is requested, and we have created this policy to clearly outline the conditions under which such requests will be processed.

This policy applies to all purchases made directly from Owrbit, whether through our website, authorized resellers, or any official sales channel.

1. Standard Refund Terms

Unless stated otherwise in this document, most products and services purchased from Owrbit may be refunded only if canceled within 30 days from the date of the transaction.

For the purposes of this policy:

  • "Date of the transaction" refers to the date on which the purchase was made, including the date on which any renewal was processed automatically or manually.
  • Cancellation of a service does not guarantee a refund unless it falls within the applicable refund eligibility window.


You may cancel any product or service at any time; however, a refund will only be issued if the request is made within the specified timeframe for that product or service and meets all the conditions outlined below.

2. Non-Refundable Products & Services

The following products and services are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • VPS Hosting Plans – Once purchased, VPS services cannot be refunded, regardless of usage or service status.
  • Dedicated Servers – Due to resource allocation and provisioning costs, dedicated servers are non-refundable from the moment of purchase.
  • Domain Name Registrations – Once a domain is successfully registered, it cannot be refunded.
  • Lifetime Deals, Special Promotions, and Discounted Plans – All such purchases are final and non-refundable.
  • Third-Party Licenses and Add-Ons – Once activated or delivered, these cannot be refunded.
  • Services Already Rendered or Used in Part – Any service that has been partially or fully delivered is non-refundable.
  • Products/Services Terminated for Policy Violations – If your service is suspended, canceled, or terminated due to a breach of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.

3. Products Eligible for Refund Under Standard Terms

The following products and services may be refunded if cancelled within 30 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified in this policy:

  • Shared Hosting Plans – All shared hosting packages, excluding the first payment after a free trial period.
  • Reseller Hosting Plans – Eligible unless otherwise specified in a promotional or bulk purchase agreement.
  • Cloud Hosting Plans – Eligible except for paid add-ons, upgrades, or overage fees.
  • Email Hosting Services – Eligible unless a storage add-on or premium upgrade has been activated.
  • Premium Support Packages – Refundable only if no support sessions have been consumed.
  • Certain SaaS Products Purchased via Owrbit Marketplace – Refund eligibility depends on the specific product’s terms; please check the product details at purchase.
  • Website Builder Services – Refundable if unused and within the 30-day refund window.


Note:
Refunds are processed only for the base product price. Setup fees, add-ons, and one-time services are excluded unless otherwise stated. If purchased as part of a bundle, the value of any free or discounted items will be deducted from the refund amount.

4. Special Refund Conditions

Certain products and services have unique refund conditions, as outlined below:

  • Domain Registrations – Refundable only if the registration fails due to a technical issue or registry error. Once a domain is successfully registered, it cannot be refunded under any circumstance.
  • VPS Hosting Plans – Absolutely non-refundable under any situation. All VPS purchases are final from the moment payment is processed.
  • Dedicated Servers – Absolutely non-refundable under any situation. All dedicated server purchases are final from the moment payment is processed.
  • Bundles & Special Offers – If a free or discounted product (such as a domain) is included in a bundle, the value of that product will be deducted from the refund amount if the remaining products are eligible for a refund.


Note:
Refund eligibility for certain products purchased via the Owrbit Marketplace may depend on the specific terms provided by the product vendor.

5. Refund Process

All refund requests must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy. Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Method of Refund – Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase whenever possible. If the payment method does not support refunds (e.g., certain local payment gateways), the refund will be issued as Owrbit Credits.
  • Processing Time – Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after approval. The actual time for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Owrbit Credits – Once funds are converted to Owrbit Credits, they are non-transferable and cannot be refunded back to a payment method.
  • Partial Refunds – In cases where only part of a service is eligible for a refund (such as bundle purchases), the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly.

Refund requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] and must include the order ID, product or service details, and reason for the refund request.

6. Cancellations

You may request the cancellation of a product or service at any time by contacting our support team. The following conditions apply:

  • Immediate Effect – Upon cancellation, all related services, data, and configurations will be permanently removed from our servers and cannot be restored.
  • No Automatic Refunds – Cancelling a service does not automatically initiate a refund. Refunds will only be issued if the product or service meets the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
  • Outstanding Payments – Any unpaid invoices must be settled before a cancellation request can be processed.
  • Prepaid Services – If you cancel before the end of your billing cycle, no prorated refunds will be provided unless otherwise stated in the product’s specific refund terms.
  • Policy Violations – Services terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service are not eligible for cancellation refunds.


Note:
To prevent unintended service disruption, we recommend initiating a cancellation request at least 10 days before your next billing date.

7. Abuse of Refund Policy

Owrbit reserves the right to refuse refunds to any customer who is found to be abusing our refund policy. Abuse may include, but is not limited to:

  • Excessive Refund Requests – Submitting multiple refund requests across different products or services within a short period of time.
  • Repeated Cancellations and Repurchases – Buying, using, and then repeatedly requesting refunds for the same or similar products or services.
  • Fraudulent Activity – Any attempt to obtain products or services without payment, use of stolen payment methods, or chargebacks after receiving service.
  • Violation of Terms – Requesting a refund for a service that has been suspended or terminated due to breaches of our Terms of Service.


Note:
In cases of confirmed abuse, Owrbit may suspend or terminate the customer’s account, deny all future purchases, and refuse any further refunds.

8. Chargebacks

Owrbit takes chargebacks and payment disputes seriously. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our support team to resolve the issue is considered a violation of this policy. The following conditions apply:

  • Account Suspension – Any account involved in a chargeback will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
  • Service Termination – If the chargeback is deemed invalid or fraudulent, all associated services may be permanently terminated without refund.
  • Recovery of Funds – Owrbit reserves the right to recover any disputed funds, along with any associated bank or processing fees.
  • Loss of Eligibility – Customers who initiate chargebacks will lose eligibility for future purchases, promotions, or refunds.

9. Changes to This Policy

Owrbit reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website, unless otherwise stated.

  • Effective Date – The current version of this policy will display its effective date at the top of the page.
  • Continued Use – Continued use of our products or services after any policy changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
  • Notification – While we may attempt to notify customers of significant changes via email or account alerts, it remains your responsibility to review this policy regularly.

Note: If you disagree with any changes, you must discontinue use of our services and request cancellation in accordance with this policy.

Refund Terms

1. Money-Back Guarantee

Owrbit offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for new hosting accounts. If you are not satisfied with our services within the first 30 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only available for first-time accounts and do not apply to renewals or second-time sign-ups. Refunds do not include any setup fees, domain name registration fees, or additional service fees.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, contact our billing department at [email protected] within the 30-day period. Please provide your account details and reason for cancellation.

4. Non-Refundable Services

  • Domain name registrations and renewals.
  • SSL certificates.
  • Third-party services and software.

5. Processing Time

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the approval of the refund request. The funds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.

6. Account Termination

If your account is terminated due to a violation of these terms and conditions, you will not be eligible for a refund.
